Funeral Service for Ms. Earlean Bell
Fresh Visions Community Church
Celebration of Live for Earlean Bell:
Earlean Bell
June 27, 1951 - July 10, 2025
Earlean Bell was called home to our Lord on July 10, 2025.
Earlean Bell was born June 27, 1951 in Cleveland, Mississippi, to the union of Less J. Bell and Maggie (Hampton) Bell, both of whom preceded her in death. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She became a member of Fresh Vision Community Church later in life where she served as an usher. She received her formal education from Cleveland High School in Cleveland, Mississippi.
She came to Springfield in 1975. Four years later, she began working for Solomon Colors. She worked at Solomon Colors for 43 years before retiring in 2022. Earlean loved the Solomon family and her co-workers. They were her second family. We know the feelings were mutual.
Earlean was a caring and generous person to everyone who knew her. She spent her life working to care for her girls and grandchildren. They were her life and they meant the world to her. She loved walking, word search puzzles, watching Judge Judy, working in her yard and spending time with her family.
Earlean had seven siblings who preceded her in death, her sister Murtis and her six brothers, Charles, Less, Eddie, Jimmie, Dennis, and Tommie
Earlean leaves to cherish her loving memory her four daughters; Yolanda, Linda, Angela (Marqus), and Terwanna, of Springfield, IL; One sister Jewel Bell-Wells of Decatur, IL; four brothers; Fudword (Ella) Bell of Springfield, IL; Willie (Evelyn) Bell of St. Peters, MO; Larry Bell of Mound Bayou, MS; and Leon (Sherryl) Bell of Memphis, TN; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
